Nicht überrascht: Löw plant 'alle Eventualitäten' ein
As the eleven players free of club commitments meet the management team at Frankfurt airport, Jogi talks of having to be prepared for all eventualities.

Mesut Özil and Sami Khedira will now be joining the squad later than planned, Real Madrid having arranged a friendly against Kuwait on 16 May.

"Nothing can surprise me anymore," said Löw."I had contact with (Real coach) Jose Mourinho and he told me that he could have done without the players, but it was a decision by the club to take them to Kuwait." - from sports.yahoo.com

Löw concern about Bayern defeat

"If they lose again in a final, after their league and German Cup losses, in their own stadium ... then disappointment would be great which I think would mean I would need to give them (Bayern players) two or three more days to process that," said Löw.
"They would then need a bit longer to find their motivation but they would find it. Because the Euros are also a huge target. But a defeat would be, I think, a bit of a low blow for us," he told the German football association in an interview.
"To win the Champions League title would be important, it would be an historic achievement," Löw said."That would be super for our players because they would join us fully motivated and would find their rhythm immediately because of that motivation."
"The preparation start is a bit unsettled. A training session on tactics is a bit difficult at the moment," said Löw."It is not easy, so we will have to see how we can do it. We are flexible, we will make it but time is very tight."
Löw fordert längere Abstellzeiten: "Eine Woche früher"
Jogi has called for an earlier date for players to be released for international duty.  He said that while, from the clubs' perspective, it makes sense to earn money from games abroad, before a major tournament it would be better for international coaches to have their players a week earlier.

Jogi welcomes his Dortmund players as they arrive at the Hotel Romazzino in Porto Cervo.

Press Conference, Le Ginestre Hotel in Porto Cervo

Löw über Regeneration, Sardinien und Trainingslager - a summary of the press conference from dfb.de
Jogi speaks about the arrival of the Dortmund players, the Sardinia training, Marco Reus, Lukas Podolski, the fitness of Per Mertesacker and Miroslav Klose, the Champions League final, the competition for final places in the squad, impressions of Julian Draxler, comparisons between the style of the national team and Borussia Dortmund, Mesut Özil and Sami Khedira, and events in the play-off match between Fortuna Düsseldorf and Hertha BSC, where the actions of a minority of fans were described by Jogi as 'outrageous'.
Löw will Reus als Mittelstürmer ausprobieren
He spoke of his desire to try out Marco Reus as a centre-forward as another alternative for the European championships.  "In the national team he is still earning his spurs, but in the Bundesliga he was certainly one of the players of the season." he said.
Löw traut Bayern CL-Titel zu: "Werden heiß laufen"
Jogi reaffirmed his confidence in Bayern Muncih lifting the Champions League trophy on Saturday, and said that their defeat to Borussia Dortmund was now no longer relevant. He added that should the team not be successful on Saturday, he was sure that the players would regain their motivation after a few days' rest.

"Ziemlich sicher - ich werde nicht rückfällig"
In an interview with tz-online, Jogi talks about the stresses of major tournaments, his daily routine with the squad, and how he relaxes, adding that he has given up smoking, this time for good! He confesses to a sweet tooth, a love of history books and biographies, and successful wagers on match results with his assistant, Hansi Flick.
