He's Klose to Löw's Heart
"As long as he keeps scoring, he will be playing for us.Germany demolish Kazakhstan to move closer to Euro 2012Joachim Löw pleased with Germany's victory over KazakhstanDuo Double for Germany
I am happy that Gomez is scoring goals. But Miro (who has scored just once in the German league) has been outstanding in the past years. He wants to continue at this level," added Löw.
"I think the first half was good. We scored three goals and had plenty of chances against a team that played very defensively. But in the second half, we didn't keep up the tempo from the first half and we played a bit too slowly."Miroslav Klose double gives Germany victory over Kazakhstan
Löw: Fans wrong to boo Germany
"We have maximum points and have scored 17 goals so we have more than fulfilled our duty," he said."Of course the expectations have risen due to our recent games and everybody expects us to send our opponents home on the back of a 6-0, 7-0 or 8-0 hiding."
However, Low said it was wrong to criticise (Bastian Schweinsteiger), even if he is going through a period of indifferent form."I think that is extremely negative," said Low. "Bastian Schweinsteiger has the right to play a game which is not quite at his highest level. He remains an irreplaceable player in German football."
Löw could only find one fault in his side's performance, and that was their failure to take the many chances they created, especially in the first half.He said: "We were just not so clear with some chances."We did well in the first half because we were able to put many passes together, but we were unable to keep up this high tempo in the second half."

Press Conference, Mainz, 25 March 2011
Germany coach Joachim Löw confirms Miroslav Klose will start and expects big win against Kazakhstan
He told reporters: "Klose will start tomorrow. But I want to emphasize that I am happy with the development of Mario Gomez. I am absolutely delighted that he is in great form. I expect the team this week to be presented as if we are playing against Italy or Turkey, and I have this impression so far.
It is positive that we are playing now and the players are having a lot of fun here, the goal is to win the game and to present a team similar to the one we saw at the World Cup."The opposition have been labelled as no hopers, and Löw believes his side should have no problems in winning, adding: "They will play for high stakes, and they live by their physique in terms of strength. Of course, they are not on our level. We expect nothing less than a clear victory."
"We want to win. We want to see a team that shows the same enthusiasm and wit as at the World Cup and the following games. We want to play at a fast pace," said Löw. "It is not a question of how good Kazakhstan are, but how good we are."
While only a reserve man at Bayern Munich, Klose is indispensable for Löw, who said he was "absolutely sure that he will keep up his level."
Löw will rely heavily on his World Cup stars before planning to give several youngsters a chance in Tuesday's friendly against Australia, as he continues his task of rejuvenating the team.Wolfsburg's Arne Friedrich will partner Per Mertesacker in central defence while Löw's only real problem area, the left back position, will be filled by Dennis Aogo of SV Hamburg. from mandc.com
Löw: Madrid Duo Improved -Speaking of Mesut Özil and Sami Khedira,
"We were in Madrid to watch the (3-0 Champions League last-16 win) against Lyon," Löw said. "We spoke with the coach (Mourinho), who is really happy with both of them. He told us good things and we can see that moving to Madrid was the right decision for both players."
Löw pointed to Ozil's development defensively, stating that he was impressed with his movement and positional play.
"Mesut has always been a wonderful player with the ball at his feet," he added."But now he also shows great progress in his play without the ball."
